Search engines, and increasingly AI assistants, judge a business partly by the company it keeps online. A link from a generic directory that lists every business in every town is close to worthless — a link from a well-established, actively maintained site that's genuinely about Amlwch, written and researched by people who know the town, is a different kind of signal entirely.
That matters more than it used to. A growing share of people don't search and scroll through a page of links anymore — they ask an AI assistant who's best for what they need, and take whichever names it gives them. If your business isn't one of those names, you don't lose a click you can see; the enquiry simply never reaches you. Being named on, and linked from, a site an AI assistant already treats as a credible local source is one of the more direct ways to influence that outcome.
The same feature-page package covers this: a dedicated page for your business, a link back to your own site, and placement in the relevant category and on the Amlwch home page for the year. Full details and how to book are on our Advertise Here page.
If you want to go further than a single link — actively tracking and improving whether AI assistants recommend your business by name — our parent company Livetech is running an early-access programme for exactly that, called Trust Density. It's a separate, dedicated service (not included in the Amlwch.org listing above), currently onboarding a small number of businesses.
